Project: Event Ordering System (EOS)    

EOS manages the state of Event Order for shipping industry.

EOS is a transaction based system and it will leverage the transaction capabilities for J2EE application server and provided by Hibernate ORM mapping.

Data will be persisted using Hibernate on MySQL Server. The EOS is divided into layers based on the N-tier architecture. Each layer has specific responsibilities.

• The presentation layer deals with the presentation logic and the page rendering. It should make use of Struts/Tiles rendering capabilities.
• The control layer manages the access to the Service layer (Struts Action Classes).
• The resource layer/domain (integration layer) is responsible for the access to the enterprise information system (mysql ) using Hibernate.
• The Service layer is related to the business logic and manages the accesses to the resource layer.
• The Common Elements layer gathers the common objects reused through all the layers.
