Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a professional and experienced classroom instructor covering the most popular programming/development/web/office technologies including: .NET (ASP, VB) Programming, Access Programming, Java Programming, HTML, XML, JavaScript, Crystal Report, Fireworks, Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, FrontPage, SQL Programming and Microsoft Office. You will be responsible for:

• Conduct classroom training on the technical aspects of company products to customers
• Identify technical training needs based upon customer feedback and needs.
• Conduct virtual training
• Customize technical course delivery to customer training needs
• Conducts analysis and development of technical course materials
• Identify technical training needs based upon customer feedback and needs.
• Develop new technical courses, workshops or virtual classes.
• Work closely with Engineering and Professional Services to stay abreast of all new product developments, customizations, and so on.

Skills & Experience:

• Experience delivering training to corporate developer and IT professionals.
• Hands-on, real world experience in the technologies you teach.
• High level understanding of related products, technical concepts and current strategic directions, including emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and people skills, as well as exceptional classroom management skills. Must be able to present in a clear, understandable and engaging way to both novice and advanced audiences. Must be able to perform under stress and code “on the fly”.
• The ability to prep for new courses quickly and thoroughly. In the classroom, must be able to manage or assist with software set-up.
• A high level of motivation and enthusiasm in the classroom.
• Strong customer-service orientation

Requirements:

• A minimum of 1-2 consecutive years instructing in a classroom or training center environment
• Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) with MCAD or MCSD (.NET) or related certification is an asset
